We love to learn about our valued customers and stockists! Leah and the team at SouthWest Hospital Pharmacy are unique in that they are located within the St John of God Bunbury Hospital and provide service to both the surrounding community and the hospital. Naturally, we wanted to find out more about why stocking Boomers is important to them...
Can you tell us a little about your team, and your values in relation to promoting healthy lifestyles?
We have a team of 12 staff, including 5 pharmacists. Whilst we predominantly service the needs of SJOG Hospital patients and staff, we welcome all from the surrounding community. We work very closely with our resident dietitian to stock unique nutritional products that may not be readily available elsewhere.
What is your most popular Boomers product?
Our most popular product is the Boomers WPI protein powder because it is a protein that can easily be added to all foods and is a quality product that is great value for money.
Why is it important to you to stock Boomers in your pharmacy?It is important we stock Boomers for convenience and resulting compliance for our patients in need of protein supplementation. I feel if it wasn't easily accessible, these patients would be presented with a barrier to sourcing it and could possibly result in negative health outcomes for the patient.
What is some feedback (if any) you have received from a customer that has purchased Boomers Protein from your pharmacy?
Patients like the convenience of being able to add it to any food of their choice and often return to purchase more.

We are located just within the front entrance to St John of God Bunbury Hospital, cnr Robertson Dr & Bussell Hwy Bunbury.
